The Ambassador

Statement By Ambassador Bradtke For Croatian Television (Htv) - In Zagreb On March 27, 2007Q: What kind of information do you have about Mr. Kadijevic?Ambassador Bradtke: I would like to be as clear as I possibly can be about General Kadijevic. General Kadijevic has neither friends not protectors in Washington. There are no deals, there is no immunity. If General Kadijevic believes he has immunity, then I suggest to him he come out of hiding, go into the nearest police station, turn himself in. Then we'll see how fast he it is proven that he has no immunity. I would say also this about the allegations that General Kadijevic is working for us in Iraq. I've checked throughout Washington, and there is no information about General Kadijevic being some kind of advisor to the United States in Iraq. The most important point here is there are no deals about war criminals, we do not make deals about war criminals. If anybody is accused of war crimes, then he should be brought to trial and stand justice.Q: Kadijevic said that he lives in Florida? Do you have any information about that?Ambassador Bradtke: We have no reason to believe that General Kadijevic lives in the United States, he is not on the list of those who entered the United States legally. So, again, we have no information about where he is. We have no reason to believe he is in the United States.
