Junior Faculty Development Program (JFDP) in the United States

The Institute for the Development of Education on behalf of American Councils for International Education, and in cooperation with the US Embassy in Zagreb, Public Affairs Section, is pleased to announce the competition for the Junior Faculty Development Program (JFDP), a program of the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs.

The JFDP provides university lecturers with a semester-long opportunity (5 months) to expand their knowledge and expertise in their academic field (humanities and social sciences) by attending classes and working with faculty members at universities in the United States. Finalists will depart for the United States in January 2009 and return to their home countries in May 2009.

Application deadline: Friday, September 5, 2008.
