The Consular section provides a variety of services for Americans and visa services.
NOTE: There is no parking available for visa applicants and visitors to the Consular Section at the U.S. Embassy. Cars parked in private parking lots of businesses located near the Embassy may be towed.

American Citizen Services
The American Citizen Services unit assists Americans with passport renewal, registration of Americans living in Croatia, birth reports for children of American citizens born in Croatia, voter registration, income tax forms, notarial services, and emergency services to American citizens.
For Consular reports of birth, renunciations of U.S. citizenship, and new citizenship requests, please call during regular working hours for an appointment

Federal Benefits Unit

The Federal Benefits Unit assists those with questions about benefits provided by U.S. federal government agencies such as the Social Security Administration, Veterans Administration, Office of Personnel Management (civil services), and Railroad Retirement Board.
Immigrant Visa Services
The Immigrant Visa Services section processes applications for immigrant visas by appointment only.

Non-Immigrant Visa Services
The Non-Immigrant Visa Services section processes applications for temporary visas to the United States. These include tourist visas, business visas, student visas, and temporary work permits.
Visa applications are accepted by appointment only.
