Veleposlanik SAD-a Robert A. Bradtke za Magazin govori o posljedicama jačanja radikala u Srbiji, mogućem utjecaju osamostaljenja Kosova na ostatak regije i o složenoj situaciji u BiH. Nasuprot teorijama da SAD požuruje rješenje statusa Kosova kako bi se nakon toga povukao s Balkana, Bradtke tvrdi da se to neće dogoditi i kako je Amerika još vrlo zainteresirana za razvoj događaja na području jugoistoka Europe.
