The Public Affairs Office has two main functions. It acts as the Embassy press office, and it runs most U.S. Government-funded cultural, information, and educational exchange programs (including Fulbright, Humphrey, and Junior Faculty Development programs). The goal of our activities is to promote greater understanding between Croatia and the United States.
Public Affairs also maintains the Information Resource Center (IRC) at the Embassy, which provides information support to Croatian government offices and insitutions, Embassy officers, and the Croatian general public. The IRC has available current, comprehensive information about the United States, in electronic and/or print formats.
