The Political/Economic section provides official information about U.S. government decisions and policies to the Croatian government. It informs the Secretary of State about political and economic developments in Croatia to ensure that the Department of State (and the rest of the Executive Branch, including the President) has current, accurate information before formulating policies which will affect the U.S.-Croatian bilateral relationship.
