USS KLAKRING TO VISIT DUBROVNIK

The United States Ship Klakring (FFG 42) will arrive for a visit in Dubrovnik, Croatia, beginning Tuesday 28 April, 2009. The USS Klakring is an Oliver Hazard Perry class guided missile frigate under the command of Commander Scott M. Smith, US Navy. USS Klakring has until recently been attached to Standing NATO Maritime Group One. USS Klakring was the first United States Navy ship to visit independent Croatia and now becomes the first United States Navy ship to visit Croatia following Croatia’s accession to full NATO membership
