The United States Navy Ship USS Higgins to Visit Split

The USS Higgins (DDG 76)

Zagreb, September 24, 2009 – The USS Higgins (DDG 76) will conclude participation in Exercise Jackal Stone on Friday, September 25 and will begin a port visit in Split on Saturday, September 26. The purpose of the port visit is to give the crew a chance to enjoy some rest and recreation.

The USS Higgins is an Arleigh Burke class destroyer under the command of Commander (Kapitan Fregate) Carl Meuser.
