CONGRESSIONAL DELEGATION HEADED BY REPRESENTATIVE MELISSA BEAN VISITS CROATIA JULY 22-23
Zagreb, July 23, 2007 -- A congressional delegation headed by Representative Melissa Bean (D-IL) visited Croatia July 22-23 for meetings with Foreign Minister Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic, Croatian Parliamentarians, and the American Chamber of Commerce. Other delegation members included: Carolyn Maloney (D-NY), Mike Ross (D-AR), Steve Chabot (R-OH), Russ Carnahan (D-MO), Jim Cooper (D-TN), Jim McDermott (D-WA) and Ben Chandler (D-KY). This visit to Zagreb is part of a regional trip including travel to Belgrade, Pristina and Sarajevo. Following its meetings in Zagreb, the delegation returned to Washington.
