U.S. Ambassador Bradtke Visits Istria and Kvarner

U.S. AMBASSADOR BRADTKE VISITS ISTRIA AND KVARNER
Zagreb, October 15, 2007 - U.S. Ambassador to Croatia, Robert A. Bradtke, will visit the regions of Istria and Kvarner on October 15 – 17, 2007. During his visit to Istria, Ambassador Bradtke will meet with the County Prefect of Istria, the Mayor of Pula, the Mayor of Pazin, and the Director of the Istrian Development Agency. He will also visit the Matosevic wine cellar, meet with representatives of the Istrian Prosciutto Association and visit the „Potpican“ Entrepreneurial Zone.
In Kvarner, Ambassador Bradtke will meet with the Prefect of Primorsko-Goranska County, the Mayor of Rijeka and with representatives of the Faculty of Economics at the University of Rijeka. Ambassador Bradtke will also meet with representatives of leading non-governmental organizations in the area.
During the visits, Ambassador Bradtke will discuss with regional leaders the impact of U.S assistance on local government reform, small and medium enterprise development, agribusiness and support to civil society organizations.
