Hip Hopping in Gajnice
Fulbright student Richelle Bernazzoli delivered a lecture on the “History of Hip Hop in the U.S.” to elementary school students at the Public Library in Gajnice on February 29, 2012. This Library is the central place of social life in that part of town.

U.S. Diplomat Meets Students
David Allen, Political Officer, visited American Corner Osijek, and led a discussion with a group of mathematics high school students on a variety of subjects on February 29, 2012. Students were interested in visa issues, economic crisis, U.S. education and health systems, and a number of other issues.

Equipment Donated to Medveščak Library
Information Resource Center Director Maca Bahlen presented a donation, consisting of a PC, projector and a screen to the Public library “Medveščak” on February 16, 2012. This library specializes in events for children and the donated equipment will improve their workshops for young adults, particularly those using the Internet.

Opening of the “Faces of Diversity” Exhibit
The exhibition of digital photos, “Faces of Diversity”, a joint project of the U.S. Embassy Zagreb, Fotoklub Zagreb, and National Geographic magazine, showing the diversity of Croatian society as seen by the Croatian youth, opened on February 6, 2012. at Fotoklub Zagreb.
