ELIGIBLE FIELDS: law; economics; business; journalism/communications; environmental studies; public policy; public administration.

CALENDAR:

2008

 

APRIL 1- MAY 1:

competition open

MAY 15-JUNE 30:

review, interviews, selection of principal and alternate finalists

SEPTEMBER:

finalists take required exams (TOEFL, GRE, GMAT)

OCTOBER 1:

complete application packages due at IIE in New York

OCTOBER-DECEMBER:

application review by IIE, peer panels and Foreign
Scholarship Board evaluations

2009

 

JANUARY-MARCH:

placements arranged and confirmed; participants undergo medical examinations

APRIL-JUNE:

administrative and pre-departure issues finalized

AUGUST:

participants depart for the U.S. and begin studies
