United States Agency for International Development (USAID)
The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) is the primary foreign assistance organization of the United States Government. It extends assistance to countries implementing economic and democratic reforms to escape poverty and/or recover from disaster.
USAID has operated in Croatia since 1992. It's overarching goal in Croatia is to foster a democratic society and productive market economy that will serve as a cornerstone of prosperity and stability in the region.

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Mission to Croatia closed its administrative operations in Croatia on June 30, 2008.
