Immigrant Visas

The Immigrant Visa Unit in Zagreb , Croatia processes immigrant visas for residents of Croatia, and Slovenia , as well as for third country nationals permanently residing in those countries.

Interviews are conducted by appointment only (telephone: 385-1-661-2300). Eligible applicants should expect processing to take four to eight weeks. Applicants declared ineligible will receive instructions on further steps to take to overcome their ineligibility.

Immigrant Visa Forms

U.S. Embassy Sarajevo (http://sarajevo.usembassy.gov/) will begin processing K and immigrant visas for residents of Bosnia and Herzegovina from October 1, 2007.

Applicants from Bosnia and Herzegovina whose cases are currently at the U.S. Embassy in Zagreb may continue processing their immigrant visa application in Zagreb . If an applicant prefers to have his or her case transferred from Zagreb to Sarajevo, he or she should submit a case transfer request to the Consular Section in Sarajevo (US Embassy Sarajevo, Consular Section, Alipasina 43, 71000 Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, tel: +387 33 445-700, fax: +387 33 659-722 or by email at IVConsularSarajevo@state.gov). Please contact U.S. Embassy Sarajevo for further information about processing procedures and times following transfer of a case.
